About the Midwest Mariapolis

The Mariapolis is a three day event with those attending living the Spirituality of the Focolare in unity with others. During the Mariapolis there will be talks, sharing, catching up with old friends and meeting new friends, singing and a lot of fun.

Who would be interested in attending? All ages are welcome. There will be adult and children programs. Families are welcome!

Where is the Mariapolis and what will the program be like? The 2025 Mariapolis will take place at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 135 S. Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046. On Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, we will have a morning, afternoon and evening program with options for you to purchase lunch and dinner each day. On Sunday, June 29, we will have a morning program with an option to purchase lunch. The Mariapolis will conclude early Sunday afternoon.

Accommodations are available at many nearby hotels. Currently we have rooms blocked off at the following hotel, near the church. We may add other hotels as we finalize plans.

$119.00 per night for 2 double beds.
This includes complimentary breakfast, outdoor pool and is 15-20 minutes from Mariapolis Prince of Peace Parish
